Introducing our Fascial Release Immersion

Here at One for All, we’re passionate about developing your understanding of your physical body (and your subtle body too) and being able to find freedom within that body.  One of the most beneficial tools we’ve found for enhancing interoception in order to find greater freedom of movement is fascial release, so we’re excited to bring you our full body Fascial Release Immersion.  We believe experiential education is the best way of understanding how the fascial webbing system works to connect the body, aiding in injury repair and pain relief from chronic tension.

During this Fascial Release Immersion we will spend the first half of the day working on the upper body.  After lunch we’ll be guiding you through the lower body and finishing with a Yin sequence incorporating myofascial release.  It will help you to develop a deep understanding of your own physical blocks with the potential to create space for your own inner healing.

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF FASCIA?

  • It is alive and anything but passive.
  • It is a sensory organ that is re-writing the classical understanding of the nervous system.
  • It is literally everywhere in the body.
  • It is continuous on every scale, joining and relating everything to everything else.
  • It is the master of your sense of where you are in space.

On Saturday July 24th from 11am to 5pm, join me for a day of rolling and self-massage.  This immersion was inspired by my Yin training with Jo Phee.  For those who don’t know, Jo Phee is the Senior Teaching Assistant to Yin Yoga Founder, Paul Grilley and is the creator of AcuYin, MyoYin and Meridian Nidra.  Her Yin Yoga training incorporates myofascial release techniques into Yin Yoga poses.

See you on the mat!
